Flame Welding
The oxyacetylene flame for assembling and cutting metals
The oxyacetylene flame, generated by oxygen and acetylene, produces rapid, powerful heating. It can be used for assembly operations- fusion welding, brazing (capillary bonding) and braze-welding- for cutting (oxy-cutting), or for other purposes such as heating, straightening, surface treatment, and more, on a wide range of materials with great ease. The oxyacetylene flame is used both manually (with a torch) and automatically (e.g. an oxy-cutting machine).
